BLAST Level 1 - Basel (CH)

Dear collegues,

The workshop includes the “Fundamentals of Neuroangiography” and is therefore particularly suitable for intervention beginners
(Level 1).

Our aim is to enable participants to train on as many simulators, flow models, access and closure systems and other devices as possible.

The training is structured in the same way as the theory and is divided into four different topics. In order for participants to learn as much as possible from the exercise sequences, they will be accompanied and instructed by experienced neuro-interventionalists under close supervision (in a 1:1 format). In addition, other international experts will come for an interactive keynote lecture.

The registration fee includes dinner on Thursday, lunch on Friday and an overnight stay from the 27th to the 28th of November 2025.

The next BLAST workshop is scheduled for July 1–3, 2026, and will also be open for MTRAs (medical-technical radiology assistants).
However, there is no program available yet for Level 2 & 3.
