No, you can browse all sections freely.
No, this new website completely replaces the previous site. However, it aims to contain all previous material included in the previous version. Nevertheless, despite our precautions, some items may have been lost in translation. Furthermore, the calendar of events will be further updated in the days to come. If you still are missing something, please contact us.
We're very sorry to hear this! This is probably due to the fact that selected contact details in our database may have not been recently updated and may not reflect your current situation. We went to great lengths to reach the largest amount of colleagues, combining all of our historical records in one new database. However, there is no way to have a quality check of our data without your cooperation.
Please reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our very best to assist you.
In short, no. As we aim for this website to reach as many people as possible in Belgium but also abroad, we opted to make English the default language of this new BSR website. However, when appropriate, Dutch- and French-language documents and text will be provided (e.g. directives from the government and other official matters).
This website has a much more ambitious scope than its predecessor. In order not to further delay its launch than necessary, we opted after careful evaluation to open it now for the public. We will provide more content in the coming weeks to months, and we aim for this new site to become an active hub and news source for the Belgian radiological community.
Yes. More specifically, it is the only way that you can become BSR member or renew your existing membership. By doing this, you can update your personal information and contact details,. As such you remain always informed about our activities, and we can easily contact you when necessary.
Yes, you can. During registration, we provide you several popular secure online platforms to process your payment. After receiving your payment, an electronic invoice will be at your disposal in your personal member account.
Yes, but it functions differently compared to previous years. You can contact us at email@example.com for more information. Group discounts are offered depending on the number of purchased registrations.
The different ESR subspecialty societyies differ vastly in the way they process registrations. Therefore, it requires a complex administration which would add at this moment in time an unnecessary layer of complexity. We will however reevaluate this topic once our website has passed its initial stage.
Nevertheless, the automatic linking of BSR membership with ESR membership is not affected, and remains an active service of the BSR to its members. This is an automatic process which does not require an intervention from a BSR user.
To become a member of the YRS, it is mandatory to be a member of the Belgian Society of Radiology. Secondly, two meetings out of four per year must be attended to call yourself a member. You can either choose to be a passive member or be actively involved (e.g. in the organisation of the Annual Meeting). It's up to you! Interested? Come and join us at the next meeting! Please contact one of the YRS-board members for information about the time and place of the next meeting and for future correspondence.
At this time, we unfortunately do not offer the possibility to subscribe for RadPrimer as a senior radiologist. This offer stands for residents only. It is however possible to register for an individual subscription on Radprimer (499 UDS/year). You can find the subscription on https://www.radprimer.com/pricing/.
Yes, you can. Every year around February/March, an email is sent to all radiology residents who are a member of the BSR to subscribe for Imaios, RadPrimer or both at a reduced price. For now, Imaios is free and a reduced price for RadPrimer is determined every year in consultation with our correspondent at Elsevier.
Unfortunately, at this time, it is only possible to benefit from this reduction when you subscribe at the time of the mailing in February/March.
Radiology residents who are not registered as BSR members cannot subscribe for these benefits.
